Yes, the digital switchover is a nationwide initiative affecting the whole of the UK, not just Antrim. After September 2023, Landlines as we know it will no longer be sold by OpenReach. Anyone requiring a new Landline will need a digital Landline. By December 2025, the old Landline system (PSTN) will be decommissioned (the digital switchover), meaning any Landlines not switched to digital will stop working.
